Concert Recording: Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet

Krzysztof Urbański conducted the Fantasy Overture about the most famous of all lovers at the New Year's Eve Concert.

With the Fantasy Overture «Romeo and Juliet», Tchaikovsky created his first great masterpiece – and found his style. How intimately and subtly he knew how to tell of love in this work, how fiercely he was able to portray enmity: this is shown here by the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich conducted by Krzysztof Urbański.
